20. Dr Mark⁵ Howe (Mark, #33)⁴⁰⁴^,⁴⁰⁵ was born on 31 Dec 1737 at Ipswich, MA.⁴⁰⁶^,⁴⁰⁷^,⁴⁰⁸ He married Mary Payson (see #21), daughter of Eliphalet Payson and Edna Prime, on 6 Mar 1760 at Rowley, MA.⁴⁰⁹ He died in May 1818 at age 80.⁴¹⁰

He was educated in Rev George Lesslie's home.⁴¹¹ He began military service on 15 Mar 1755 as an Army surgeon in Col Thomas Bartlett's regiment. Also in Col Scammell's Regement.⁴¹²^,⁴¹³ He lived on 14 Dec 1760 at Deerfield, NH, owned the covenant there.⁴¹⁴ He was described as a large fleshy man, injured in a fall from a horse about 40 years before he died circa 1780.⁴¹⁵
