Nathan head of household, 1 male<10, 1 male >45, 1 female <10, 1 female 10-16, 1
female >45, 1 person engaged in agriculture. Looks to me like Josiah, father,
Rebecca, Rhoda and mother. Suggests Harrison born earlier than previously
thought, out of the home. This makes sense, as Josiah was baptised with this
younger 2 sisters in 1819.203

chain bridge, some as an overseer between 1826 and 1827 at Newburyport, MA.249 He Obituary in Newburyport paper
(in part): ...born March 6th, 1799. Worked as a cabinet maker, selling his wares
in Boston. Worked on construction of the chain bridge in 1826 and 1827, some as
an overseer. Opened the Farmer's Hotel at Green and Merrimac Sts. and a grocery
store in the same building. Leaves 3 sons, grandchildren and great-grandchildren
on 22 Feb 1873.250

12. Hanson4 Toggerson (TogerHanson, #22)290 was born
circa 1773 at Norway; Calculates about 1776 based on gravestone info.291 He married Mary Welch (see #13) on 3 Nov 1810; "Hanson Turgason a resident
of York and Mary Welch of York intend marriage, entered Nov the 3rd 1810."292,293 He died in
May 1853; AE 77 years.294
He was A mariner. He History of York says in addition to sons he had 5
daughters, doesn't give names.295 He Info from J Carroll: The war
of 1807-8 put a blockade around Norway and a lot of people starved to death.
The situation was probably not unlike that of the Irish during the potato
famine. He probably found a way to America in order to escape that.296 He was also known as Harrison Toggerson. He was also known as Hansen Torgeson. As of 1818, he was also known as Hanson Taugerson.297 He appeared on the census of
1801; Norwegian census shows a Toger Hanson running a sawmill, son Hanson
Toggerson apprentice is correct age for our Hanson.298

She The 1790 census list a Mary Welch as head of household in Cape Elizabeth
Town, Cmberland County ME. Two males under 16, no males over 16, 5 females
total. She would be only 16, if our birth info is correct. This may or may not
be a relative.
14. Ephriam4 Rowe married Sally
Seavey (see #15), daughter of Thomas Seavey and Anne Staples, on 5 Sep 1804 at Seabrook, Rockingham, NH.322,323,324 He died on 29 Oct 1852 at York,
ME; I am not sure this is the correct Ephraim Rowe. States he died
suddenly.325
He An Ephriam Rowe enlisted in Revolution at Seabrooke. 1790 census shows an
Ephraim Row in Seabrook with 1 female, and an Ephraim Row in Standish ME with 2
females, 2 males over 16, 2 males under 16, Caleb Row next door. One Ephraim Row
listed as Major in Col Fogg's Regiment, born Kensington NH, died Standish ME
1834, 2nd Cumberland county Regimen, married Mary.
