Other boarders at property Sarah A Curtis June 1832 mother of 3 living, age 68, Mary A Shaw Oct 1813 mother of 2 living age 87.⁴⁷ He was a carpenter in 1900.⁴⁸

5. ANNA³ CURTIS (Alfred, #10);^56,57 born 11 Jun 1853;⁵⁸ married Hendrickson Watts (see #4), son of Elbert Watts and Eliza Frost, 1874;⁵⁹ died 4 Dec 1903 at Rockville Center, NY, at age 50; obit in Hempstead Sentinel. Age 50. Rockville Cem 428.^60,61

Grammie wrote in a letter to Randy 22 Apr 1992 "...Anna Curtis Watts, for I happen to have the inner part of a picture which I've always understood is her picture. It is true that they lived on Broadway in a wooden house like Tempe Wick's."

JOHN WILLIAM³ ROSCHE (Charles, #12); born 16 Sep 1844 at NY; Born in Germany or Alsace per Grammie, NYC or Hicksville per Rand, who cites "bible rec" as the source of the date of Sep 16, 1843;^62,63 married Fredrica Josephine Windtner (see #7), daughter of (--?--) Windtner and (--?--) UNK?, 1 Nov 1867 at NY; Marriage Cert says John Wm Rosche of New York, New York, and Fredrica J. Miller of New York, New York. Married by Christopher Rhodes, Baptist Minister, F. H. Rhodes witness;^64,65 died 3 Jan 1907 at NY at age 62; buried 5 Jan 1907 at Greenfield Cemetery, Hempstead, Nassau, NY; section 21 plot 107 grave 5, burial #6705.⁶⁶

Per Freda he initiated entries into a family bible, not sure where it is now.⁶⁷ He immigrated circa 1858 age 14 from Germany or Alsace.⁶⁸ He was a grocer, owned a grocery in Brooklyn near the train station, and a farm in Lynbrook circa 1880 at Adelphi St, Brooklyn, NY.⁶⁹ He lived after 1880 at Union Ave, Lynbrook, NY, John and Frederica and we think 3 of the older siblings moved out from Brooklyn on the plank road, to live in the country (Lynbrook). Not sure of date. Per Grammie the 3 family house is still there.⁷⁰

  He was manager of the family farm. Per Grammie, Uncle Will was so friendly that when he would go into Lynbrook to visit friends, he would meet so many he would end up drinking in excess and be out of commission for two weeks.

  He was Worked the family farm after 1900 at Lynbrook, NY. He lived after 1900 at 11 Sunset Ave, Lynbrook, NY, "Uncle Chris", owned back to next street.

• vi. HENRY WILLIAM ROSCHE;⁸⁰ born 21 Aug 1882; married Ethel Mae Kinney, daughter of Henry Marriam Kinney and Fannie Ashton, circa 1910; "married late" per Grammie; died 1956.

  He was Stayed in Brooklyn with younger brother, to run the family market after 1910 at Brooklyn, NY.

• vii. FREDERICK ROSCHE;⁸¹ born 11 Dec 1883; married Augusta Kaseman 25 Jun 1909; died 26 Nov 1946 at age 62.

7. FREDRICA JOSEPHINE³ WINDTNER ((--?--), #14); Grammie and burial records list her name as Windtner, the marriage cert clearly says Miller. Her step-father was Miller;^82,83 born 1 Apr 1846; Randy cites "bible rec" as source of the date;⁸⁴ married John William Rosche (see #6), son of Charles C Rosche and Margaretha Francis (--?--), 1 Nov 1867 at NY; Marriage Cert says John Wm Rosche of New York, New York, and Fredrica J. Miller of New York, New York. Married by Christopher Rhodes, Baptist Minister, F. H. Rhodes witness;^85,86 died 13 Oct 1918 at NY at age 72; Somewhere I had previously been given the date of 12 Nov 1919. The stone and cemetery records clearly indicate 1918;⁸⁷ buried at Greenfield Cemetary, Hempstead, Nassau, NY; Section 21, Lot 107 grave 6, person 10534. Fredrica J. Rosche was also the person who purchased the plots, per the deed dated 27 Dec 1906.⁸⁸

She lived at 9ish Sunset Ave, Lynbrook, NY, in the original farmhouse there, before the subdivision. She took a horse and buggy to the cemetary every Sunday. Her stepfather's name was Miller after 1867. As of 1 Nov 1867, she was also known as Fredrica J. Miller.⁸⁹
