I have an old photograph, formerly in the posession of George M. Bouton (not
the subject of the photo), of a soldier in civil war era uniform, in front of
what appears to be a painted backdrop of a flag, a tree and log stockade
fortifications. On the mat is the notation "George Bouiton 1862 at Washington."

She lived after 1950 at 170 Willoughby St, Brooklyn, NY, Lived with her
sister-in-law "Aunt Hattie" and Hattie's daughter Lillian. She gave Bill the
book, "Who Built the Bridge?". It is said she very much resembled her sister
Mary Benetta. She was a hotel receptionist in her later years, Norman Bates
lived in the hotel after 1952 at New York, NY.
iii. (--?--) LaForge; born before
1880; married Hattie (--?--) before 1897.
7. Mary3 (--?--); married Benjamin Franklin LaForge (see #6).
Grammie B has a memory of Mary (her grandmother) as being overweight, having
trouble moving around, and being someone who "bossed the place", meaning not shy
about giving orders. Her husband rememberd as having died well before his wife.
If I understood correctly, Lillian lived on the third floor, Will on the second,
and Mary on the first floor, kitchen by the garden, behind the Pratt Library.
