6. John3 Barker (Jedidiah, #12);81,82,83,84 born 21 Apr 1758; "of Bradford;"85,86 married Mary Jackman (see #7), daughter of Capt Timothy Jackman Jr and Mary Thirston, 27 Mar 1781 at Newbury, MA;87,88 died 22 Oct 1828 at Bethel, ME, at age 70;89 buried 25 Oct 1828 at Bethel, ME.90

He Went from Rowley to Bethel via Londonderry and Androscoggin River. Bought a Revolutionary Soldier's claim on interval land on Androscoggin River with his eldest son. Wife Mary joined him in mid-winter via Pinkham Notch abt 1799, with children including Abigail (to be called widow Jackman), Timothy and Samuel, 8 children altogether. Timothy and Samuel drove oxen to make the path. When John died in 1828, Mary wrote to get help from her nephew Ebenezer Jackman, who later married her daughter Abigail. The 1790 census Coxhall town, York ME lists a John Barker with 2 females and one boy.91 West Bethel records refer to John Barker as a Revolutionary war veteran, we aren't sure about this.92 He lived in 1804 at Bethel, ME, Came from Londonderry, NH.93
